Hello, does anybody have some photos on what bags / how you attach things to Giant front fork racks like this: https://www.giant-bicycles.com/gb/giant-rack-it-front-rack. Are they pannier specific / panniers only?

I do have some straps though I'm wondering about getting some Topeak Versacages / Blackburn racks, but not sure about needing to wrap around the forks and risk overtightening securing clamps (carbon), so might go down the front rack route instead. Just not sure what id then need to add things onto the cages and if its possible for cheaper than buying more panniers!

  1. What do you need to carry? If you can’t think of anything then you probably don’t need the rack.

That’s strictly a low rider pannier rack.

You don’t put versacages on it, panniers. If you want to use versacages just attach them to your fork, or get a rack designed for them.

Personally, not a fan of pannier only racks. I much prefer something more like the Specialized Pizza rack with a top deck. Or a OMM Elkhorn or Tumbleweed T-Rack.

The t-rack is designed to take versa cages and has a top platform.

Why I like the top platform. Smaller bikes tend to have less wide bars and thus struggle to take a handlebar bag (of any actual size). You can use the rack for a dry bag on the top shelf.
