Two Wheels Anderston, a space where I would like to help make cycling in our part of Glasgow safer, easier and more accessible.
This is the second in the series of features on the subject of cycling in Anderston.
Even the best cycling infrastructure is not worth much without viable storage options. Safe, secure and sheltered should be key words, especially in Scotland.
With so much talk about limiting car use for short journeys, with so much buzz around the subject of active travel and so many announcements of new secure bike storage options, it’s time to see what it means for Anderston.
As for February 2025, things look grim (despite the stream of positivity pouring out of press headlines).
If we don’t take action now, we’ll settle for nothing later (extra points if you know where this quote is from!)

Time to get on a bike!

Definitely been forgotten about. Shocking!
I'm actually surprised that Glasgow West HA have got bike parking in their new development. I've enquired on it, where I stay, and got some super inane reply from them, which is typical. They will lead you on, let you "make the case" for things, but always do nothing.
So many right things said!
Your not missing out. the one on Bilsland Drive was broken into by thugs last week. All 4 bikes were stolen overnight including my £2000 e-bike.
