So for some context: Recently I somehow got lucky and got a free Mountainbike after having my old one stolen (I just used it for daily commuting, forkse were seized up anyway) and now that I have it, I'm looking to get (back) into the hobby.
The bike actually works great, but the front forks (old SR Suntour coils) have a lot of wobble/play, are noticeably worn down, and they feel like they'll fold over on every next jump.
As I was scrolling around to look for a
replacement, these Manitou forks caught my eye, as I kinda wanted air forks and these seem like a great deal!
Thing is: I'm currently in quite a pinch when it comes to money so I don't want to just waste ot on something that's completely unnecessary. Also: I'd need to switch to dic brakes in the front, as these forms don't support V brakes. Is that an easy thing to replace? The hub of the front wheel does have 6 mounting holes for a brake disc luckily.
Thank you so much for reading my long ass post, any advice advice of insight is greatly appreciated, have a great day!

Sell it, if you can, and get a decent hardtail instead of a crappy double suspension
