Hello,

I recently purchased my wife an etrike. Problem is the crank arms are 170mm, she has bone, and hip flexibility issues and is also 5' tall. She can't lift her legs that high.

I would like to replace it with a 120 to 130mm crank with 28-38t sprocket, square drive. Problem is I'm having a heck of a time finding one. If you guys have any recommendations it would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

  1. Crank arms that small are super uncommon for square taper but they will most often be found in kids bikes.

Found a few options that low keep in mind shorter cranks effectively gear up your bike so a smaller chainring will preserve effective gearing. Posted below is a crank option

[trek pro wheel, 130mm square taper, 30T](https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en_US/equipment/cycling-components/bike-cranks-chainrings/city-kids-bike-cranks/prowheel-kids-30t-crank/p/W5304124/?srsltid=AfmBOoom77MY0yLzt8hbHiwKFUT2RuUDKJXuYOoB9EwPT3MvGP6Sv7_m5vE&gQT=1)

  2. CargoPile1314 on

I found a couple options and then saw what u/queergirl32 posted. Go buy that. If Trek trusts it enough to sell it, it’ll be fine for your purpose. I was finding either 2-3x the price or random $20 pairs from Alibaba that I’m not sure I’d trust.
