Can anyone explain how we go from a non-rack version of the rear mudguard for $23:

https://us.brompton.com/p/660/rear-fenders-blade-in-black-l-version

To a rack compatible version of the rear mudguard for $23:

To an Advance Rear Fender (i.e. mudguard) compatible with the advanced roller rack, for $110???

This is all before tariffs.

A pure guess – doubling prices of existing products will cause a bit of an outrage and will show up on price comparison sites. Newly introduced products can be launched at higher prices. And brompton did launch a lot of products in the last 5 years, compared to the 40 years before that

But thats how you loose customers to aliexpress

The Advance mudguards are for the more expensive Bromptons, ie P and T lines, so maybe they should be more expensive than the C Line mudguards?
