Why bother? It’s a bike. You’ll probably touch it up and get a scratch moving it back to the garage
Sand it down with P400 grit sandpaper to remove the rough edges. Fill up the holes with 2K epoxy resin. Sand down with P1200 grit sandpaper to smoothen the resin. Apply black lacquer or black nail polish. Sand with P2000 grit sandpaper to create a smooth surface. Apply clear coat lacquer. Sand with P2000 grit sandpaper to create a smooth lacquered surface. Polish with a polishing pad and polishing compound. If done properly, it will look like new.

I wouldn’t even bother repairing this. However, if I did do anything, it would be some touch up with some fairly close matching Testors model paint or a black Sharpie.
You could sand it down carefully and spray paint the shifter, but that seems like a lot of effort for an insignificant gain.
