It was so nice to re-live the ride I did back in August 2021, so much has changed since then! Shout out to Kyle the hero for being the best at the end of this ride πŸ˜€

Thank you so much for watching, if you can spare a second to hit subscribe with your pinky that would be awesome.

  1. Another great video. I use huel to refuel after a long ride, plenty of vegan protein (although I'm not a vegan), tastes great and just as good as whey protein

  2. I use Arbonne pea protein as my body also doesn’t like dairy. I really enjoy it, perhaps you might as well. Great videos as always Amy, how does it feel to be done with work?? 😊😊😊

  3. Did you figure out why your hands are getting red and swollen? Is it wind burn, bike positioning or both? In your Mallorca video, you said you were going to check it out.

  4. I dont know how amy does this on her own , and on the road's. I would be a bag of nerves I hate being on road's with busy traffic. Would love to have a go on some of that route though. Especially when on the way to Wales, where the helicopter was hovering. Wondering which road that was ? Anyhow well done Amy.😊

  5. To do that journey there and back over one weekend…..and with a dose of β€˜the trots’ in between…wow….you have achieved an amazing level of fitness. Well done. πŸƒβ€β™€οΈβ€βž‘οΈπŸš΄β€β™‚οΈπŸ‘£πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦

  6. Nice sunrise to start the video, then nice roads & furry friends. But we then concluded with the thought of diarrhetic suffering. This one covered the whole spectrum.

  7. Thank you for sharing the details of your journeys, both on and off the bike. You are very inspiring for both areas of life. When you were out of water and passing houses and farms, why don't you knock on a door and ask for some? Is that not done in your area? My wife and and will be bike camping in Normandy this summer and I wonder if asking people for water will be well received?

  8. Hi Amy, what a great ride home well done. The weather looked cool at the start. 🌞 sunshine and blue sky. The seanery looked lovely. Nice that Kyle met you ,he was so happy to see you.The garage is taking shape too. Amy very good average of just over 25 km. Hope Kyle got your crispy apples, all the best Tim Melbourne Australia ❀.

  9. Hi Amy. Great ride well done. I'm always astonished at how fresh you look after all those miles on the bike. I look and feel like a dogs dinner after 50 miles never mind 160. Good note to self – and something I've learned myself – always fill your bidons all the way to the top on the long rides, and plan a refill as soon as one goes empty, or get an extra bidon bracket for behind the saddle, or, just as good, get a Camelback water rucksack.. Congratulations on your amazing progress, keep those vids coming, big love to you Kyle and Chester. TTFN.

  10. Fantastic riding,Amy! What a huge improvement in speed and I'm so impressed how fresh you guys are after those insane miles. One complaint though, I now have Mumbo no. 5 stuck in my head……..crap!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  11. I'm not sure about your comparison. When comparing this ride to your ride 4 years ago, I think you need to factor in the fact that you rode 300 km only two days ago …. and all the long rides you have been doing recently. That you stopped for lunch previously also a big factor. Also, how did you feel after each ride? I think your resilience, or whatever it is called, is better than 4 years ago by a significant factor.

    'Furry' sheep?

I'd be prepared to knock on a door to get some water in the future but you seem to be getting on top of the nutrition now. Good job.

Big week for you and you are heading into it in a positive place and we all wish you well on your journey forward.

The Kyle Cameo. Good man. As if we needed it, a real insight into his character. Great team.

  12. So good Amy, love your β€˜raw’ natural content, chatting to the moon πŸŒ™ and β€˜the ladies’ – it’s that β€˜in your head conversation’ so good ❀ btw sheep don’t have fur!! Protein powders get a plant based one, pea protein. Chip chip, happy days, #TTFN
