Riding on that little stretch of gravel instead of the cobbles, just feels like cheating. I know the men do it too, but it shouldn't be allowed, unless there's some kind of crash or some real problem. The whole point of this race is cobbles and they're not even riding on them half the time…

I'm sorry, but this is stupid. Why have a cobbled race if you allow riders to ride on flat soil next to the cobbles? Everyone praises the cobbled races because of the difficulty, but then you have riders avoiding the difficult parts at every possible moment. Penalise them when they unnecessarily leave the track or call it as is "riding the least cobbles possible cobble race".

Something about the off road racers, men and women, starting to win big road races. Even though this race is so unique. But shows the bike handing skill and great shape us off roaders possess.🤪
