Could you please explain the difference between these two bikes, if any? If there’s no difference, what does the “8 AL” signify? I’m interested in purchasing this bike, but I want to ensure that I’m not buying a counterfeit version or something similar. I’m not very knowledgeable about bikes and could easily be deceived into making a mistake. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in this matter.

Mikes bikes is a Santa Cruz dealer! 8 AL is just version 8 of the aluminum chameleon so they’re identical, if you hit buy online the Santa Cruz site will direct you to its official online retailers.
