Looks like an old Haro…maybe a Mirra or Nyquist version??
Benjamin10jamin on
You’d have to look hard to find one, as that’s a 25 year old Mirra Pro. Was the holy grail of bikes for a lot of riders in the mid-school era.
At an estimate, an immaculate example would probably run at a couple grand or more, but restoring a rough one with NOS period parts will cost you considerably more.
Haro did a run of “tribute” Mirra Pros a few years ago on a somewhat more modern frame (but in the same colorways), which you could probably find a lot easier, but ultimately, it’s not the same bike.

You can find that bike in my dreams

As other answers it’s a 25 year old bike! Haro’s top of the line mirra pro model, and they sell now for big money with haro collectors.
Also to add, while it was a top end bike then, it wouldn’t be a bike you’d use now! Considerably heavier and geo of its time.

I’m devastated. Such a cool looking bike. I missed it by about a quarter of a century. 😭

It’d be fine to ride now. What I think they mean is that it’s heavy as hell. And it was, I had one (or maybe the model down?), weighed like 38 lbs out of the box.
The frame alone was over 8 lbs.

Haro Dave Mirra pro series. Good luck on getting that mint. Looks like you can get it refurbished for around $450

This exact bike? This is a white USA made Y2K Mirra Pro. Last one of these I saw was going for like $6500 in rough shape. The red one is a little easier to find but not by much.
If you just want a Mirra, the more mass produced Pros, Flairs and 540s are more available but still go for decent money depending on condition/level of restore. The white is still the rarest color though.

I am building my own. A tribute of sorts. Not trying to spec it exactly, but close. I was able to track down a frame. Not a pro model, but a chromoly one. I am Choosing to build a black one like the model from 1999. Any year of a mirra pro is are extremely hard to find, and expensive as all get out. Parts are hard to come by also, if you want to go the route I am going. It’s almost impossible to find one of these complete like this, and or mint like this. If you do, expect to pay big big bucks! Even the Mirra flair models are expensive as hell. 540 models can be had for decent prices, but are still pretty damn expensive.

You guys are bumming me out. I wish I could get my hands on one of these, but it seems that won’t be happening. Even if I could find one, all I could spend is $1000 tops. 🥺

Let me put something into perspective. I am restoring several old childhood Bmx bikes from 1996-2004 era.
To have 2 sets of Odyssey Hazard Lite’s…1 set of Alex Supra-E rim rings and a pair of Redline Monster forks stripped down & chromed again is costing me $980.

You probably had to win a contest 20 years ago to get one of these.

Go watch Dave Mirra throw the first double backflip in competition on one of these, Xgames 6 in 2000. My god I watched that happen live and it was the single most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. I had the opportunity to meet him a few years later at the UGP Roots competition in Orlando, in warm ups seeing him back flip the street spine like he was floating over a curb was alone amazing to witness. RIP wonder boy.
