Hello my friends and welcome back once again!

This week, a good old fashioned endurance ride on what is most likely my favourite route from my front door. Stonehenge! via some really amazing medieval towns and countryside. I’ve ridden this route numerous times, this was the best edition of this route for me yet. I hope you enjoy coming along for the ride πŸ™‚

Hopefully you’re all good yeah? good πŸ™‚ see you later, andy

  1. Nice ride well done
Unfortunately, I can't cycle at the moment as I got hit by a car and broke 2 ribs, and my bike is damaged
As soon as I'm healed, I will get back cycling

  2. This one was especially beautiful, Andy. Well done, huge ride. Loved the music and the views as always.

"Over the years becoming a bit of a pilgrimage" made me smile.

  3. Awesome ride, Andy. I would be interested in a bivy ride. I'm looking to do something like that around California in the fall; a video with your experiences/tips would help a great deal. Cheers!

  4. Love cycling on Salisbury plain been out that way on the gravel bike a few times seen a few tanks on exercise once very cool went through Winchester following the King Alfred way , loved the town nice bit of history

  5. Great ride and film. Do stop in Salisbury sometime if you get the chance in the future. Lived there for 10yrs, miss the place. Great little city.

  6. Great video Andy!
You rode very close to my house on that route. Brought back memories going past Winchester Cathedral ,as I worked there as a stonemason for 15 years before going self employed.
    what is your next event?
I'm doing the Norfolk 360 this weekend on no training, but it sounds a fun event😎

  7. What a gorgeous route and amazing weather.
Love those passing shots – you cycling over the bridge, swan in the river, Stonehenge – nice. I like that raven swooping down in front of Stonehenge – if you stopped and got the raven on the post and Stonhenge…the money shot

  8. I followed s similar route starting from Southampton for the summer solstice 2024. Left at midnight, plenty of time to watch a brilliant sunrise, soak up the atmosphere and get home in time for the school run.

  9. Fantastic video Andy, some really good camera work. Impressive you can ride and still get those good shots!
I know that feeling of going on a favorite loop when the weather finallly turns. UK is an incredible place to ride when it gets sunny and dry, such a shame how rare this is. We have to make the most of it.

  10. Really nice ride and I hope you enjoyed that well deserved barbeque after that. Weather finally nice here too, have a few routes planned too. Even if most of them a bit shorter.
