I have a 2008 giant glory freeride (the non dh version) and they would normally come stock with 180mm forks (I think) but someone has put 170mm junior ts on for some reason, could this frame handle 200mm 40s or boxxers without stressing the frame to much. Thanks

Longer travel will make the head angle slacker and raise the bottom bracket, but the frame should handle it just fine.
Contact Giant Support and ask them
yes, 20mm difference from stock won’t really put the frame’s integrity at risk (do note however that you will be exerting more force on the headtube, even if the Glory is an overbuilt beast), but it might change the handling of the bike. you might feel it become lazier/harder to maneuver at low speeds on tech trails, but for the fast stuff you’ll have slightly more stability, it all depends on what kinda riding you plan to do with it
Most forks only go upto 180mm,check with the manufacturer’s spec first.
