On my Aeroad I had to have the saddle installed and moved it all the way forward or back and tried to adjust the tilt. Eventually it gave way but it felt like I broke something. It’s been fine ever since. There’s a YouTube video that basically did the same thing.

I think this is fairly common since they implemented this style saddle clamp. Best thing is to re attach the saddle, screwing it down just enough so the clamp stays on the saddle rails. Then try to use the saddle as a lever to wiggle the clamp loose. You might not want to do this if your saddle has carbon rails, but mine was fine. I apply a thin layer of grease where the pieces interface as an anti-seize to keep this from happening. I had to do this when I was flying with my bike and my saddle got tilted in transit.

Yeah, the same with my Aeroad. I used a rubber hammer. Once it hits hard, you think something’s broken, but after that, it’s fine

Attach saddle and hammer it down. Feels brutal but it works like the others said too
