That sucks, but I guess it needs to be done.
I always try to do one big epic XC ride out there each summer incorporating multiple flume trails. I still haven’t done Capital to Tahoe, so maybe that’s my big XC ride this summer.
There’s easily accessed alternatives that are as good or better.
