invert the camera on the mount so you can angle it up more, or get a chin mount

Maybe start with moving your gopro up so you’re actually seeing where you’re going?

I can’t help you with making gopro look like anything to do with real life, but I can comment that I’ve basically stopped watching any climbing, riding, skiing, flying, etc footage that is super wide angle. It is just so far removed from reality that I don’t care to watch it. I think older GoPros and similar that didn’t distort / fish-eye everything into oblivion were far more watchable, despite less FOV.

Have you tried pointing the GoPro forwards instead of downwards?

This would be more helpful if you showed us your mount.

So while riding, you want your gopro pointing up a bit because youre leaning down.

Wider angle, facing forward. But you’ll never be able to completely fix it. The “GoPro effect” is real.
I’ve got footage hitting Power Hour at Highland and it really doesn’t look like anything.

1) Buy the 4k version
2) Shoot at 60fps
3) Turn your mount upside down
4) Angle it upwards
5) Shralp the gnar
