Hey friends! I’m running a Bomber CR on the rear of my 2015 GT Fury.. I just swapped the steel 450lb spring for a 550lb SLS, and now if feels like the damper isn’t engaging right away in the stroke. There’s not a clunky noise or anything, but a definite dead spot at the beginning of the stroke. The switch in spring couldn’t have caused this right? I did have a pretty significant crash my last right.. I’m pretty handy and not against pulling the shock apart if necessary. Help please. (Please ignore the clutter in the background, just moved 😅)

Dead spot in the damper would indicate cavitation, air in the oil. Probably needs a rebuild. Generally beyond the home mechanic not for difficulty but just because of the tooling required.
