Use to have the mushroom grip but those are great for when wipe out

I dig the look of ergo grips on a clean cockpit. Looks rad

on their own: atrocious!
but maybe the kind of brutal(?) look harmonizes well with your frame geometry and the other parts. So this might be a unique selling point.

Ergonomic grips are a game changer if you can get over aesthetics (I like the looks tho). They provide comfort plus extra hand positions. Check Emma Missale’s bikes, they look amazing and always have these sqlab grips.

Looks ugly but prob comfortable

They need to stay in the 90s where they belong

Function > form. If they’re comfortable for you, who gives a fuck? A bike is for riding, not pageantry.

I tried them myself at one point and didn’t enjoy them. I am constantly moving my hands around my bars and doing micro adjustments. I hated the fixed hand position being the only place that it felt comfortable aside from the “bar end” sort of end.
I agree with some others that for pure comfort a favourite is the Wolf Tooth Fat Paw and I use those for a couple cockpit set ups that can be pretty rigid. Chunky but comfy!

I try not to think about them!

In the 1980’s I used to run a grip made by Oakley called a “Cobra III” they where great until you had to move on you bike at all.
I ride a fixed gear bike, I HAVE to move around in/on and around the bike.

Hell yeah dude, I love the ergos, I have em on mine too. They do double duty being comfortable while also pissing off fixed gear “purists”, and judging by the commments, mission acomplished!

looks comfy yet ugly

Only thing that’s ever worked for me on flat or riser bars are Oury grips, both for form and function.

It doesn’t matter what I think.
Somewhere there is a huffy with no grips

I tend to grab the end of the bars for a different hand position so actually am gonna go look for these

I hated the functionality of any ergo grips I’ve come across with, but these grips look fucking awesome. Am I only one here that like them on this setup lol?

Pretty sure these are the same grips that Emma used in the last MonsterTrack – she made them cool in my eyes

I think you have them on backwards

Fixed gear scene is so stupid sometimes… the moment someone tries something different some braindead-brand-brainwashed-incels are freaking out and feel threatened until the exact same thing becomes a trend and they all do it. Who cares… if you like it they are perfect

Ergonomic! I don’t like them personally because I swap grip so often

Sure sure, they feel good but a pair of Yoshida’s that color matched would look cool.
