nitro isnt shit. we had 2 rcs from bananna hobby that was nitro. they get like 2 football fields away then you gotta be like dora the explorer and get your map out because they cutout and died in another state. oh and have fun waiting 2 weeks for more nitro fuel. electric all the way.
Nitro was fun as kid back when the stampede first came out for learning about sge but getting old don't wanna deal with the mess or storing fuel however depending on your living situation nitro is a blast.Nothing beats that sound in rc but electric nowadays roasts it on launch and turns into toast with bad batts

Nitro is the real rc hobby. Electric is for folks that want their hobby to match their lifestyle, convenient and now. They think unlimited power equates to good, when in reality it is often too much for the car and driver to handle. As a 15 year nitro enthusiasts, once you master tuning and troubleshooting, its 100% more rewarding then anything electric rc will give you.
I have been running brushless for the last 15 years. But i have changed over to nitro. Nitro is a more visceral experience, and so much more rewarding and fun. It's a Xray xb 8, and FX K303 engine, runs like a dream
People who hate on nitro just hate the maintenance of it, it’s tedious work to get a nitro running right, but in all it’s definitely way funner than just running electric.

Nitro is more fun but electric is just easier and more reliable. That looks like a wire was off on the esc.
