Shifted with a little bit too much force and I think something snapped inside, Now it won't shift neither up and down and the downshifter won't go back to it's normal position
Is it time to say goodbye or is there any way to fix this?

It might just be gummed up.
With shifters my attempt to save them starts with flushing with a powerful spray degreaser like Clean Streak. Really soak it. Then I flush with a spray lube like One Step. Again really soak it. You’re going to make a mess so put some towels down. Do a bunch of clicks to get it worked in. Clean off the excess. Then see if it works. If not it’s time for a new one.
I’ve opened up and fixed a 7900 shifter before with a similar problem. there was a spring that came loose. or got deformed. I remember having to cut it, reshape it, and put it back in place, and it worked just fine. I spent a few hours on it. not sure if the mechanic is the same on the 11s stuff, or if you can even open those up. assuming it’s a claris or 105, might be better to just get a new one.
First, replace your shift cable, it’s very possible it’s starting to fray, and that’s the root cause. Then flush with HOT water, then blow out/dry, then just a few drops of oil, cycle shifter, and blow out excess. Hopefully it just needs a cable or cleaning
