Rotate quick link to top position. Push down on the drive pedal while pulling the wheel backwards. Should lock up that quick link. If you’re too weak, take bike off stand and stand on the drive pedal, should also lock the link.

The quick link isn’t fastened and is facing the wrong way. The chain isn’t directional but the quick link is. Arrow needs to point direction of the chain when pedaling

Continue installing. Place the quicklink on top between the cassette and the chainring. Squeeze the brakes. Stand on the near pedal until you hear a pop.
