On what, gravel tyres? They used to sell an “all-road” version with 35mm knobby gravel tyres out of the box.

    >the TREK dealer was swaying me away from canyon in general

Oh, they were doing their job then?

So you’re telling me, that a trek dealer didn’t recommend you to take your money elsewhere?????

Canyon has certainly disrupted the industry. That said, any shop that says they won’t work on a Canyon (or any other brand) doesn’t deserve your business.

Can someone explain why bike shops are disgruntled with Canyon. I love my endurace and haven’t experienced any issues but I don’t take it in very much. Just wondering

  5. I just bought my second canyon, started with an endurace Al 6 and now a cf 8. I’ve never had issues. My cousin bought a trek bc they have a lifetime warranty on the frame and canyon is 6 years I think. Canyon can serve your needs

Direct to consumer isn’t for everyone. If you’re a novice, don’t know what’s out there and/or what you want, or you’re mechanically challenged or just want someone to look after everything….then bike shop is the better route

I have the red, buddy has the blue (in CF). Both are great, and both colors look better in person. I’m parietal to the red though.

Wondered if I’d regret buying since my old road bike was fine and I just got a Grizl early this year (and got a second set of tires with road tires) but this bike is amazing. Can’t imagine not having it now.
