Silvertown: London’s new £2 billion tunnel but cyclists have to use (empty) buses to use it

The brand-new Silvertown Tunnel just opened beneath the River Thames — London’s first new road crossing in nearly 60 years. Drivers pay up to £4 to use it… but if you’re on a bike? You’re not allowed in.

Instead, cyclists are offered a free “shuttle bus” service to cross — no riding allowed.
