Warranty replacement. Just to prove a point say that you need at least an x01 or xx1 level chain to guarantee your safety.

This is one of the very few instances that calls for a chain warranty, or in this case just a new powerlock. Appears that you installed it correctly so your shop will hopefully just give you a new link.

Yes, but only when one side was not latched (the pin was wedged against the plate, but not in it. It’s impossible to say if that’s what happened now, but this is what that failure looks like. Or could be a defective part.
