I bought a Kink Backwoods frame recently and the parts I have for the sprocket/cranks dont fit in it. I don't even know what size bearings to get for it, it just says "mid" as the BB type. Not sure what that even means. Sorry I usually just put shit together in my garage till it works but I'd like to not use junk on this bike

You need to determine the diameter im mm of your spindle. Then order “XX millimeter mid bottom bracket bearings”
the bottom bracket is mid, and requires bearings like these:

“Mid BB” sets the outer diameter of the outer bearing race way which interfaces with your frame. The other dimension you need is your crank spindle diameter so you can select the right inner diameter for the BB bearings. There are two common sizes – 19mm or 22mm.
What method are you using to try to install the bottom bracket? What bearings/BB do you have now?
Are you using a press for the bottom bracket? The bearings don’t just drop in, it’s real tight press fit
as others said, you need a MID bb.
There is 19, 22 and 24mm mid bbs. You have to check what size spindle you have now.
This will depend on your cranks spindle , the diameter typically is 22 mm. Once you know the spindle diameter you just buy mid bb kit from cult or whoever you like and press that Mf in
