While bikepacking across Europe we kept a list of lessons learned so that on our next adventure we can remember, but we have decided to share it with you guys as well to help you on your next cycle tour!
Now, thats what I call real practical tipps. exact my experiences. Those are the things that can make or break your bike tour (at least for us mortals).
Hey! Just wondering what shade/cap you have attached to your helmets? I wear a cycling cap on my trips, but sometimes it just doesn't provide enough shade from the sun! Thanks 🙂
I am excited! During the holidays I mentioned riding my bike from NY to NJ then eventually to NC. All the adults laughed at me. I then see this video! I'm inspired to ride my Brompton all over the world! This Spring NJ then maybe philly then I'm on my way to NC! Watch me!
I have ultralight clothes and tools and bike parts, but I'm goad to hear my instinct to not trust ultralight tents and dry bags was correct(I actually did trust a dry bag once…once)
advice that obviously comes from experience -> niche-examples but useful. thanks! <3 🙂 or rather: things "you wouldn't think of to think about" – always my favourite advice to find
Remember, you are cycling to enjoy your life not to win any record! Planning is mandatory, but as he said, be flexible, rest wherever and whenever you want and ofc before you reach the point of tired.

Can you not store your bike inside the hotel room? Why would they stop you?
Lady in tip 2 regretting her life choices lol
So, apart from all that, was there anything positive about your bike trip? 😂

Was it a cheap lightweight tent or a good one?

Have you ever come across any bears or wolves?
where do you get those sweet visors?
