I recently purchased a straight bar and its kinda to wide(700mm). I've been thinking about what looks cleaner, straight bar or drop bar? Ignore their typical application and purpose, just the aesthetics
Roll the flat bars back so the sweep goes more back towards you instead of pointed up. Then put your hands a little inboard just to see how it would feel if they were shorter.
Then go ahead and just hack an inch off both sides and ride it again. Also put some straps on and a front brake in case shit goes sideways. Sorry my conscience requires me to say that.
Anyway it looks great either way but try playing with the flat bars to fit you better.

Both bars look pretty sweet. The reflectors on the pedals ruins it though 😛

whatever has the most leverage to pull off a skid easily. Personally drops for me looks good but i’m too biased because i don’t like flats.
Shouldn’t the typical application be the reason for a different set of bars?
Or are you just looking at the bike and not riding it?
