Bought a used A line this morning. Previous owner upgraded the tires, added the rear rack, and threw on ergonomic grips. I switched over my brooks b17 from another bike when I got home.

Wtf, my Brompton is effectively EXACTLY the same right down to the colour!
I upgraded to Ergon grips just like you have. I added the rear rack just like you.
Mine was originally a 6 speed, but I reduced it down to just the 3 gears in the hub, just like yours is.
I use an Ortlieb O Bag for the front and a Vincita Nash Bag for the rear rack. So much luggage capacity.

I would add a front mudguard/fender if you ever ride on wet roads, it makes a big difference.
