Personally I have a theory about Pogi this season. Yes he is strong, yes he is still the one to beat, yes it will be hard to beat him BUT I have noticed after his performances last season his ego has been inflated (which is understandable) but I feel because of that he is taking on too much this season and trying to prove he's the best too often. Patience has never been a strong suit for him. With his performances last year and with him wearing the rainbow jersey I feel like he's taking on too much and it could cost him the TDF. I know this is a bold statement but we are already seeing signs that he's NOT the "unbeatable" rider many think he is. He came in 3rd behind MVDP and Ganna in a final sprint last week which isn't what I consider to be Pogi on top form. I will say this tho . . . Pogi will have to do something pretty incredible to win Flanders and do it BEFORE the Peterberg and Oude de Kwaremont because that is where MVDP launched his attack last week and it's going to be hard for Pogi to break loose from MVDP because as we saw just recently at Milan San Remo Pogi tried to attack MVDP and MVDP was glued to his wheel as he has done so on numerous occasions so my final summation is, I think this race will be a win for MVDP
For the record I love watching BOTH of these lads race especially against each other but I'm not exactly what you would consider "a fan" of either of them
🤘🏻🇬🇧
Pog is going to rinse everyone.
This year will be Pogacar
