  2. Hey some schmuck yelled out to me. illegal the other day. Yeah he was f**** jealous. But here's the deal. It's only cheating if you're racing. And I'm not racing anyone. I bought mine because my knee was wrecked. Believe it or not no surgery or anything One year later my knee is fine. But I do it for distance. Me and my son jump on our bikes and ride all over my town. S*** we even go to the towns next door. His grandma and my mom live in the next town over which is only about eight or nine miles but we can cruise over there and back home no problem. Plus I've got bags and s*** we do like little picnics. Crazy part is I used to own a bunch of four wheelers and we used to do that but sleepy creepy Joe took over gas prices skyrocketed food went up everything else along with that and I own a company that wasn't doing very well so I sold the f**** four wheelers and bought these bikes and guess what we enjoy them much better and they're virtually free beyond the initial purchase. So in a nutshell it's only cheating if we're racing hahaha

  3. Went to Europe in vacation, rented one and rode it to the top of a ski resort. Epic day with my brother. Came back to US and bought a Specialized Alloy Comp for $6k, put 200miles on it in one year and sold it for $4k… ouch. On my home trails my XC bike was what I always craved. I'll rent again an ebike when I'm around a ski resort in the summer.

  4. So many stuck up cyclists in these comments. If effort and calories spent and simplicity are the only way you're going to measure it, you should just get rid of the bike; you'll get a lot more exercise just climbing the trails all day instead of riding them.

Oh, that's not fun? You weren't thinking about that when you were criticizing e-bikes and their owners.
