I'm looking for a rim brake wheelset for a 2009 TCR Advance SL lightweight build. It's hard to decide on what wheels. Theseller says there's about 4.5k miles on them which seems like a lot. The brake track looks good though.

Sell your TCR and get better bike with better components and better wheels. You can get better used Carbon frame bike with Carbon wheels for 2k.

Nah, 4.5k miles is a lot on carbon rim brake wheels. Remember the carbon rim is the braking surface.
Okay. You know it better. Those wheels are nice. Bit i love HED wheels
I’m seeing even the best carbon rim brake wheelsets top out under $1k in my area, and it’s fairly HCOL and big road bike scene.
I sold a pair of these for $900 USD over the summer…and it took like 3 days to sell and not a huge amount of interest. It had much less mileage too…$1500 USD for those is insane imo.
