I just ordered this Fork, and now I’m starting to question its legitimacy. They said it from a costum build and would not come in a fox box (I missed that detail). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
What bike do you intend to put this on? Because that’s a lightweight XC-fork fork with a remote lock-out.

Looks normal to me. But I’m really just looking at the fork bridge (that’s 2022+ design right?). Are there even fake fox forks that modern? That stepcast lower probably isn’t cheap to copy, (and isn’t sold anymore?), it’s seems like a 32 stepcast would be a bad option to make a fake of.
It is common to get forks that were taken off of a complete bike and do not have packaging

looks legit, probably taken from a complete bike
not sure why anyone would change that tho – its a top tier fork i think?
worst case scenario, its from a stolen bike

Seems legit

Im sure someone bought it with the intent to use it on a trail bike but realized it was the step cast version and you can’t return a fork to some places if they had to be special ordered with specific specs. Looks legit to me!

Out of curiosity, what makes you think it’s not legitimate?

I’ve seen fake Fox forks before but never a fake Stepcast. I think you’re good on this one.
It’s a legit [Fox 32 Factory Step-cast remote](https://shop.ridefox.com/products/32-factory-sc-29-100mm?variant=40941940179003).
