Hi. Need advice for carrying my Endurace CF in the back of my SUV. Ideally, the setup would be a fork mount onto a 2×6 board and then the bike face the rear of the SUV. Very similar to the picture. However, the seat height doesn’t allow the bike to stand up fully straight. Has anyone had a similar setup, and lowered the seat to transport the bike and then raise it to ride. Seems tedious after a while. Any suggestions?

My SUV interior isn’t that tall, so it wouldn’t be feasible for me. It may be better in a van or minivan where it has the interior height to take advantage of
Can’t you just lay it on its side? That’s what most people do when transporting their bikes. At least where I live.
