Yes. I tore my shin open 2 weeks ago after slipping a pedal while RIDING FROM MY DOOR TO MY CAR. Had to get stitches for it too, worst shinner ive ever had. I was so pissed lol.

I slipped on a wet bridge over at krankcase in santa cruz and slammed into the side of a mountain. All I had was a small injury on my shoulder. But when I go over the bars on a small jump (literally like 3 ft) I break my helmet and neck.

Not MTB but I separated both AC joints from wrecks on the beach at about 10mph on my electric mountainboard. Doing 20+ on the street I went down on the asphalt and walked away with the only damage being my helmet needing replaced. Always seems to be my low speed stuff that hurts me the most.

Makes sense, since when I’m bombing down sick singletrack at 30 MPH+ I am in the zone. Whereas when I’m going 1.2 MPH down the street picking my butt and on my phone is when you crash into Mrs. Fouks from down the street.

Just the other week, I slid out going downhill fairly quick and smashed my entire right side on rocks. Hopped up and laughed. Only injury was a slightly bent derailleur. I picked up a single 4 foot chunk of 2×4 three days ago and sprained my wrist. Entire hand is basically paralyzed since. Wtf, human body?
