Hi, I have a new Zeb fork and it looks like there is a small crack at the top of the stanchion. It’s barely noticeable, you can only feel it with your nail. It doesn’t lose air or oil, but I’m wondering if this crack is superficial or if it could be a more serious issue. Any advice?

I don’t know what that is exactly, but zero chance I’m riding a cracked fork, or a fork that even looks like it might be cracked.
I wouldn’t care if it was used. It’s supposed to be new so I wouldn’t accept that.
Dude, take that back, if you can feel it with your nail the odds are it might be a crack, and no way you ride on a cracked fork
Hard to tell in the photos. I would inspect with a magnifying glass. If it looks more than a superficial scratch it’s warranty time.

Cracks on stanchions are serious and shouldn’t be ignored
