Righ next to Dallenwil in Nidwalden, Switzerland, there exists one of the weirdest train stations in existence, Niederrickenbach Station. A station that wouldn’t have any justification in most other countries. Tho sizewise more than respectable for a village the size of Dallenwil, it is solely meant to service a cable car station which services Niedrrickenbach and a hiking area in the mountains.
This station probably makes no sesne to most people, even more so because it was newly renovated from October to December which made it quite a bit better!
