  1. Building up the same frame an hours drive away from Vancouver! Mine was free tho 😉🤙🏽

  2. The fork is dead and it’s rough around the edges but if it’s not cracked anywhere it should clean up nice. He definitely scored a bargain.

No he under paid here in the UK there selling for like £300-450 yes that’s perfect condition so I would be guessing there like £100-200 in that condition

I paid 300 for an old 26 MTB and it shreds. It’s all relative to how much you enjoy it.

A bice like this here in Brazil would be roughly R$800~1300.
So… it was a good deal

  6. The “Metal Matrix” frames are pretty sweet. I had a SWorks road frame from that vintage and it was a nice riding frame. Also, I’d pay 25 bucks for that WTB Speed saddle on it’s own… that’s my all time favorite saddle.

i see these sell in California for $250 and that’s just the frame, no joke.

Great deal. Let him cook on the restoration, it’ll be worth it. Those bikes are sweet.

  9. The elastomers in that fork have disintegrated entirely. You can get coil springs off ebay to get it working again. Look for ones that fit a 63mm travel Judy XC from 1995.

  10. Great deal worth at least $1000 very rare and retro bike might be worth more if he has the original tire inner tubes

He should spend another $50 for a rigid fork. He’ll definitely like it over that old thang. Otherwise good find!

You’re late joker. Next time, set the alarm so you wake up on the first. Also, get some new material. This joke is more worn out than my brake pads that haven’t been changed in over a decade.
