Picked this up in the late 90s, been in storage since 2008. Thinking about rebuilding it this weekend. All original except for the handle bar tape and tires.

wtf happened with those blue cables. They look like a BMX brake system.
I’ve just redone my blue one last week. It’s heavy but all the chrome makes it really stand out.
Vintage Schwinn is like a fine wine compared to what they can offer today. Most vintage bike is still really good today though. That thing is a beauty it just need a cable management and a better cable color, go black and hide the handle bar cable with a straps 🙂
