I have been going on early morning bike rides for a few months now. This is my longest ride around the Wirral.

Absolutely loving these early morning bike rides!
Your legs must be like a machine to be able to do that distance but your poor bum on that seat, I wouldn’t be able to sit properly for a week!
51:05 is bang on where they filmed the 80s tv show Watching, just across the road was Malcom’s mums house!
Loving seeing so many old haunts I used to frequent, moved away a long time ago and so much has changed to the point I hardly remember / recognise most places but it’s great seeing bits I do!
A good route idea would be down to Moreton shore and go all the way along the coast past Leasowe Wallasey New Brighton on to Seacombe and Birkenhead and weave back home.
Not sure how many miles that would be but I have a feeling it would be a PoP for you!

Nick, at the beginning when you were describing the route you would be taking I'm sure I heard you say, "A lot of psychopaths as well". Which would make the ride that little bit more interesting 🤣

The full Wirral Circular trail is a great ride when you get time Nick, at the Hooton end of the Wirral Way it’s signposted to the start of the trail at Eastham Ferry.
I'd be interested to know how many unfortunate bicyclists have had a meeting with those two posts at 45:22. I could imagine they'd be difficult to see at dusk.
Hi Nick ,loving these bike rides, you've even rode by my house in Leasowe a couple of times when riding along the Bidston to Moreton path!!
Another great watch nick.great choice going out at that time.its a pity they can't spend more money on the cycle paths.plenty of cream qfter that ride 👍👍💙💙
