The winter project is a rider now.

I've been through a few different touring bikes, but this is the one I've always wanted. It's a 1984 Gitane Grantour. I've made a few upgrades: drilled chainrings on a Stronglight 99 crank, changed the steel Huret Duopar to the Titanium version, added front and rear racks, built new wheels with Sun CR18 rims and Normandy high flange Competition hubs and WTB cyclocross tires. I changed the bars to a wider Modolo drop with an SR stem. It has Mafac Cantis.

Just waiting for the temperature to get out of the 30s to go put some miles on it!
