I keep re tightening this lock ring and cup because it wiggles. It's not a tremendous wiggle but it's there. Tiny wiggle. What can fix this? Replace the locking? Or the cup? The bike? Would thread lock or Teflon tape do the trick? Ty

Are you holding onto the cup with a pin spanner while you tighten the lockring? If not, then the lockring is likely not truly “locking” the cup. BUT: Pretty likely that this old BB is worn and could stand replacement. Maybe replace with a cartridge BB, dispensing with this cup and lockring entirely?
A few drops of Loc-tite 242 or similar might do the trick. Otherwise, just get rid of the cup-and-cone bb and replace it with a cartridge unit for less than 30 bucks.
