I followed the Badger Divide as far as the turn off for the Corrieyairack Pass. Sadly a forecast of prolonged rain, 60mph winds and minus feeling temps for the pass put pay to my Badger plans. So Instead I headed along to the centre of Scotland stone near Newtonmore as a curtailed end point of my trip.

The Badger will have to wait for another day

  1. Nice pics! What’s the tent that you use? I am looking into getting one for a tour. I like that style but not sure about being able to sit up in it comfortably etc

  2. Nice one, looks epic. The Badger is on my list, trying to test how I cope with long distances multiple days in a row to see how I get on first so hopefully in the spring pre-midge season, depending on the weather of course!

Sensible decison skipping the Corrieyairack in those conditions, it’s a beast of a route at the best of times, also harder from South to North from what I hear.
