1st bike is about 20.5inch/52cm and
Second bike is around 23inch/58cm. I'm 5'9 I have been comfortably riding the 52 for a few months now. Someone told me it was to small for me and I should get a 58 and I feel it is way to big.
I'm just gunna swap everything from the 58 to the smaller frame. My question is what size would be rite for me at 5'9?

I ride a 56. Have ridden 58s but 56 is the sweet spot for me.
Sweet spot for me is 55ish
I’m somewhere between 5’ 9” and 5’ 10”… a 56cm frame – traditional geometry with a horizontal top tube seems to be the right size for me.
I have a Mercier Kilo TT that measures 53cm C-C, or 56cm C-T and it’s perfect. Also, currently building a vintage road bike (Bianchi Nuovo Alloro) that is 56cm C-T as well, and it fits great!
Height isn’t the tell all for bike fit (not to mention sizes can vary from one bike manufacture to the next), but regardless, a 52-54cm is probably about what you need, for reference, I’m 6’ and usually fit a 56-58, depending on the bike.
