Just wondering if anyone had fitted the Asoffix aluminium shim to the Brompton. Replacing the existing plastic, glue in shim. I have C line 2017 model.

I wouldn’t encourage it the Brompton one is designed to wear for a reason, secondly you’ll mar your seatpost with an aluminium sleeve as well.
The original one is made from nylon for a purpose. Just use the Brompton Part.
Thanks. I just want to know if anyone has actually fitted one on their Brompton regardless of whether they should or shouldn’t have done.
