That dura ace derailleur, while nice, made me cry. Should have some period super record.

I see the index shifters though and I’ll admit that I prefer index to friction as well.

  2. After many years of ownership, he had the bike rebuilt. [Albert Eisentraut](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Eisentraut) stripped the bike down, nickel plated the entire bike and repainted it in white Imron. I had to change out some of the components to fit me, such as adding the wonky extended Salsa stem, but I have the original stem and criterium bars. I don’t have the Campy pedals anymore though :(. I cannot find a serial number on it. I looked everywhere… I’m thinking of selling and would love to see this go to a true enthusiast.

  3. Awesome bike, from a period when Schwinn was still in the pro peleton. That head tube height though, I’m always kinda gobsmacked by how tall the stack and top tube are on some vintage frames.

  4. That rear wheel is pulled allllll the way back in the dropouts. You’ll get a little bit snappier ride by moving it forward.
