I just got a new bike (so stoked about it!) but when I was messing around in the parking lot this part of my brake slid downward and when it almost fell out I lost all braking power. I was able to slide it back in but after some rough jostling around it slid back out of the bottom again.
Is there a way to stop it from moving around and coming out of the bottom? I would hate for it to come out 10 miles into a ride and not be able to find it on the ground.

Lever pivot pin. It’s held in place by a little pinch bolt. If your pin is sliding out, your pinch bolt is loose or missing.

See picture for the bolt location. You will need to add some blue loctite and there is supposed to be a rubber plug to prevent it from backing out
