Ya it’s cracking. I’ve ridden on something like this for quite a while, out of necessity, before I got the chance to get a new rim, but it did get way worse rather quickly after I first noticed it. You may be able to get by living life in the fast lane for a while but you’ll need a new rim.

It’s cracking and others will soon follow. Keep an eye on it. It’s not to cause a catastrophic failure while riding or anything. One day you’ll just hear an ugly rattle and it’ll be that nipple giving up the ghost. Start saving for a new set.
