I recently picked up this most excellent guidebook “1,000 KM Lëtzebuergesch,” which details about a bazillion hiking, biking and running routes from one Luxembourg train station to another. In other words, it’s all about the point-to-point experience; not having to out-and-back it, if you know what I mean.
The book is loaded with maps, has descriptions in English, French and German, and as someone who’s written six guidebooks myself, I’d say this book is seriously kick-arse. I used it Sunday for an amazing train-bike excursion that started in the Stad and featured a super-fun Ettelbruck-Reisdorf-Wilwerwiltz ride.

I'm from the high desert of the American Southwest. Luxembourg looks like a verdant paradise.
