Title is sarcasm. Of course I’m watching out when I filter. I’m not just looking at drivers on their phones, I’m looking all around me, and I expect pedestrians to cross. This is one reason I filter quite a lot more slowly than other people. Another reason is that I’ve learned that slow filtering when looking for phone drivers,is far safer for me personally and for others, and my journey time remains unaffected.

You can report road crime online here in London: https://www.met.police.uk/ro/report/rti/rti-a/report-a-road-traffic-incident/
In the rest of the UK you can use the NextBase Portal to find your local force submission portal:

  1. Well done Mikey, but I feel a bit sorry for him. I know, I know, he's guilty…
Hope you and all your viewers enjoy your weekend.

  2. Excellent work yet again Mikey 👍🏻🚲✊🏻
Another totally avoidable and expensive life choice for someone 😮
    🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤷🏻✊🏻

  3. I know you report all use to the police, no issue with that. I wish the police would follow them all up too OR follow up only the most blatant, most rude people. This was at the very minor end of the scale and he gets 6 points, we have seen much worse on this channel and they seemingly get away with it. Sad really.

  4. A 2011 car which have got to be amongst the newest models of cars not equipped with their own built-in satnav system. Hopefully this iproblem will soon be a thing of the past.

  5. What’s the difference between him looking at his phone in traffic and you watching him to see what he’s doing while also in traffic? You’re both distracted — and both equally guilty. Plus have you ever stopped to think that by calling someone out like that, you might actually be making things worse? Shaming or provoking someone behind the wheel can lead to more dangerous driving, not less. You come across like you're on some moral high horse, but it’s clearly more about stroking your ego than genuinely caring about anyone’s safety. This has nothing to do with real concern — it’s just performative

  6. Whats confusing is why do the councils create those unofficial pedestrian crossings. Pedestrians think they have right of way and as it’s not an official crossing so do motorists. Why not just make a pelican crossing there?

  7. Good (nice) people do bad things. Doesn't make them bad people but then them being good doesn't made the bad thing good……. There are so many phone drivers out there I now have to grade them by severity and focus on submitting only the most egregious. Personally therefore satnav while stationary wouldn't cross the threshold. It is in some way related to the act of driving and isn't occurring in motion. Still clearly illegal and certainly results in subsequent danger to other road users- the stratification is more a function of the sheer number of drivers out there on their phones (compared to the amount of time I have available for submitting videos, going to court etc etc) rather than a sign I approve such use. Sadly the message hasn't yet got out to the phonezombies and use remains fairly prolific. Despite the higher threshold yesterday I still filmed 5 drivers using their phones in a hour cycle ride in which the evidence was court-grade. That's plenty enough as it is!

  8. Back In ancient times, the passenger of the car would be holding a Road Atlas.
Today, though times have changed, the passenger should still be finding the directions

  9. So the Brit’s are now eager to snitch on people for, why ? The government is not your friend and when they start forcing you to take the mark on your wrist or forehead will you snitch on the ones that want to trust God instead or will you run to tell the government ?
