Was looking for help as I’m not well versed in the mountain biking world. I’ve ridden a Scott Spark 960 for the last 5 years and has been a solid bike for me. Was looking to jump into something different. Last week, visited my brother in Boise and rented out a 2019 Alchemy Arktos 29 and it rode pretty awesome. The company was looking to sell it at 2500. Is this a fair deal for this type of bike? Any help is appreciated!

Look at YT, they have excellent sales on at the moment.
I wouldnt spend 2.5 bones on a 6 YO rental ever.
New geo bikes are big. Are you sure you are a xl?
Most I’d pay is $1,500 otherwise better off buying something newer.
Honestly, that’s what I was thinking. 2500 on a 6 year, used bike scares me. It rode fantastic but it seems like a lot for a bike that old.
