Ideally I'm looking for a hybrid or gravel bike. So I'm wondering if I could swap the tires on this, but also, is this bike worth the price?

It'll be my first bike. And I was thinking about getting the Ozark Trail G1, but the large is out of stock, and who knows how long it'll be like that. So if this is nicer, then maybe I should go with this?

I'm 5'11" if that helps. And will mostly be riding for fitness on roads and light trails.

Thanks!

  1. Any-Delay-7188 on

56 is around your size but could feel slightly big

its $1500 bike new, prob like 12-14 years old, its not a bad price depending where you live, around here they’d list it for $350 and would prob take $300. It is a much nicer bike than the ozark but given the rim brakes it probably won’t fit much over a small 30mm tire. For proper gravel you’d probably want something with more tire clearance and disc brakes will keep you safer in muddy conditions

  2. It won’t fit wide tires. My old synapse won’t fit above 25c in the rear, but most from that era will do 28c.
